ORIENTATION FOR GREATER MONCTON PEACE CAFE’ HOSTS!
As part of International Peace Day activities on Saturday September 21, 2019, we plan to host several Peace Cafés throughout Greater Moncton and need a few people willing to help us facilitate and spread the word! Join us in this September 5th orientation session and experience a Peace Café!
Peace Cafés, based on the Conversation Café Method. (http://www.conversationcafe.org ), are a simple dialogue process that engages small groups of up to 8 people in connected conversations about peace matters. It is really easy, fun and rewarding to be a Café host or participant.
On Thursday September 5, 2019 from 6pm to 7:45pm at the Bibliothèque publique de Dieppe we will be providing an orientation and experience for people interested in hosting or helping with a Café. It is intended that the Peace Cafés will be offered in French and English, and each Café will be co-facilitated by two-person teams.
The Peace Cafés will be done in collaboration with Richard Schultz from www.collaborativeways.com and Inda Khairunnisa Ayutami Intiar from Woven Cultures Tissées.
